Who Are the Friends?
The Crestwood Library was conceived of and founded by a vibrant and determined group of women in the 1920’s. Three decades later an equally resolute coterie of neighbors established a Friends’ organization to carry on the work of the initial founders.

This fall (2025) we will celebrate 99 years of our cozy building’s existence AND in 2026 there will be a very notable celebration of our
100Years
We hope to publish a yearbook of stories: “100 Stories for 100 Years!” Please contribute your story by sending it as an attachment to friendsofcrestwoodlibrary@gmail.com or drop a paper copy at the library’s main desk at 16 Thompson Avenue. Many Thanks!

An Evening with Jamie Brenner
Join NYT Best-selling author Jamie Brenner for a delightful evening of books, friends and fun. Her books include THE FOREVER SUMMER, GILT, BLUSH and A NOVEL SUMMER. Her newest novel, THE WEEKEND CRASHERS is coming out on November 4th.
Her presentation will be followed by a Q & A, book signing and light refreshments.
